Short story/poetry Competition
The Wilde Foundation Hammersmith & Fulham Writers Festival Short Story/Poetry Competition celebrates creativity, imagination, and the power of storytelling. Open to both adults and children, the competition invites writers and poets to share original work that inspires, reflects, and connects through words.
This year’s competition explores themes of identity, memory, reflection, hope, and the stories we carry with us. Whether through poetry, short stories, or flash fiction, we want to hear bold voices, fresh perspectives, and unforgettable narratives.
Selected winners will receive exciting prizes including publication opportunities, book bundles, certificates, live readings at the festival, and access to creative development opportunities.
Whether you are an experienced writer or sharing your work for the very first time, this is your opportunity to let your voice be heard.
