Echoes of Childhood: Stories That Stay With Us

What do you remember most about being a child?

A favourite place, a person who made you laugh, a difficult moment, or perhaps a memory that has stayed with you without you quite knowing why?

Echoes of Childhood, a new anthology from The WILDE Foundation, explores these questions through nine reflective short stories written by emerging writers and edited by Rasheda Malcom.

Each story offers a different perspective on childhood and asks us to consider how our early experiences shape who we become. Alongside the stories are photographs of the authors by Tiana Rendimonti, giving us a glimpse of the people behind the words.

The anthology will be presented at Askew Gallery as part of the Askew Road Arts Festival, with a Private View on Friday 18th September, from 6–9pm.

Come along, discover some new voices and perhaps leave thinking about a few memories of your own.
