What a wonderful evening it was at Askew Road Arts Festival 2026.
The festival brought together writers, readers, artists and members of the local community for an evening filled with creativity, conversation and a shared love of storytelling.
A special highlight was the launch of Echoes of Childhood, a collection of nine reflective short stories created by emerging writers through The WILDE Foundation and edited by Rasheda Malcom.
The launch was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the writers, hear about the stories behind the collection and reflect on the memories and experiences that shape who we become.
From the conversations to the stories, the evening was a reminder of what can happen when people come together around creativity.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a memorable one.
And to the writers of Echoes of Childhood, this is only the beginning.
